About Goodenough Club
History
The Club building was designed by Joseph Kay, and built in the early 19th Century. It was taken over by Goodenough College in the 1930s, and became a home for nurses during WWII, only to be handed back to the College in 1989. The builiding was then entirely renovated and reopened as Goodenough Club in 2001.
Goodenough Club accommodation offers:
- Attractively furnished en-suite bedrooms, in historic Mecklenburgh Square
- All rooms well equipped with TV, telephone and unlimited internet access, hairdryer, toiletries and complementary hot drinks tray
- 19 single bedrooms, 34 doubles/twins, 8 family rooms
- 4 classic Georgian style gardens suites, boasting high ceilings, chandeliers and separate living room are ideal for private business meetings/receptions

- Freddie’s Café Bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day until 11pm
- Freshly cooked breakfast 07.30-10.15 weekdays and 08.00-14.00 weekdays and Bank Holidays and meals are available for dinner in the College’s Great Hall
- Relax with a coffee in our comfortable Guest Lounge located in House 23, free wifi available
